This drink was created by Dick Bradsell, a famous London bartender at Fred’s Club in Soho. The CAPI update lengthens the drink, making it more refreshing and accessible.
- 30ml gin
- 15ml crème de cassis
- 15ml fresh lemon juice
- crushed ice
- CAPI Lemon
- Add gin, crème de cassis and fresh lemon juice to a large rock glass.
- Top with crushed ice.
- Fill to just below the rim with CAPI Lemon.
- Place a cap of crushed ice on the drink to form a nice mound.
- Drizzle about 5ml of cassis over the mound to create a trickle down effect.
