Americano with CAPI Soda

This drink is a forefather to the Negroni, using soda and sweet vermouth in conjunction with Campari. Reportedly named as a little dig at American tourists that were unable to handle the bitterness of Campari, opting to take the classic Italian a little longer and sweeter.

  • 30ml Campari
  • 30ml sweet vermouth
  • ice
  • CAPI Soda
  • fresh orange wedge, to garnish

  1. In a hi-ball glass, add Campari and sweet vermouth.
  2. Top with ice.
  3. Fill with CAPI Soda to just below the brim.
  4. Garnish with an orange wedge.
