Mona Foma 2020

It's fairly common knowledge that whatever Mona (Museum of Old and New Art) touches turns to gold. Mona Foma 2020 was no different. 

As the summer sister of the renowned Hobart festival Dark Mofo, Mona Foma exceeded every expectation of exceptional music, art, food and drinks to which we have become accustomed. Of course we wanted in on the action, so collaborated with the Mona and Mona Foma teams to create an on themed bar for the festival called Fizzy Lips.

On the menu were sugar free, sweetener free cocktails featuring our 3 Soda+ flavours paired with either vodka or gin by Tasmanian-based brand, Lawrenny Distilling. There was also a Fizzy Lips Spritz with extra bubbles coming from Moorilla sparkling.

Beyond Festival Hub, there were different events and pieces that bent the mind and threw ‘normal’ to the wind. CAPI favourites included Architects Of Air’s inflatable breathing sculpture of colour and light, Dark Ride at the Penny Royal, and the Dolly Parton after party aptly named 9-5 which came with breakfast service at 4am.  

Our heads are still spinning but we’re counting down to next already!
