PASSIONFRUIT SPARKLING MINERAL WATER HAS ARRIVED

Make The Switch Winners

We choose Australian water because we believe it's some of the best in the world. Earlier this year we decided to trade up our International glass bottle for a sustainability-oriented Australian company.

In February of 2022, we invited bars and restaurants across NSW, VIC, and QLD to make the switch with us with a chance to win $50,000 of CAPI water revenue to help sweeten the deal!

In April, we announced our winners... all answering one of the same question: “Why do you want to make the switch to CAPI Australian Mineral Water?” in 25 words or less.

We were blown away by the response and were truly touched by the incredible mindset our local restaurants, cafes, markets, chefs and the like had around supporting an Australian brand and working toward their own sustainability goals! We sat down with our three winners to learn what they are passionate about and hope to serve their own customers. Introducing our three incredible winners...

BUTLER WINE BAR

15 Manning St, South Brisbane QLD 4101

Tell us about your venue and the food / drinks you serve. How are they made? How do you source the ingredients? What makes you guys a bit different?
Butler is a brand new, intimate wine bar in South Brisbane, that values community, comfort and conscience. Butler will focus on a modern Australian wine offering, complemented by a menu that will celebrate connections with local producers and the bountiful and diverse produce of the region. We’re all about making wine accessible and approachable. Providing excellent product and comprehensive knowledge with no ego, all so we can enhance our guests experience and enjoyment.

Why is it important to you to choose locally sourced Mineral Water as opposed to imported?
Look, there’s few better reasons than proximity right now. ‘Supply chain delays’ must be the most used phrase of the last few years, so having a product that can be reliably supplied is so crucial. But beyond that; Australian produce, water included, is very hard to beat for quality!

What does it mean to be Australian to you?
To me, being Australian in 2022 means; being accountable, responsible, self-sufficient, and progressive.

Do you have any local brands, venues or businesses that inspire you?
Butler’s wine list is made up, exclusively, of producers who are on the front line of sustainability and environmental responsibility. Of those producers, not many take the same approach, but all pioneer imaginative and sound practises in their vineyards (or shed’s) to ensure sustainability not just for the environment, but for the longevity of their business. This is inspiring
